The 1920s historic building has served as the home of Fort Lauderdale's first mayor and home to the Red Cross. Now it serves fine French - Creole cuisine, including well-prepared, flavorful Beef Wellington. The tuxedo-clad servers and the sky-lit atrium full of lush tropical plants help create a romantic and comfortable dining experience. Reservations required for parties of six or more. The French quarter and it's sister, cafe de Paris are located just off French quarter and on cafe trendy las olas. They both have superb cuisine and a long time reputation for excellence. Since 1972 French quarter has been more elegant, a tad less noisy. They have some of the best fish dishes around and the desserts are awe inspiring. They have been serving the best jumbo shrimp in the area and has been in the 500 best restaurant in serving the best food.
